My Story

Since I was a child I didn't like barber shops very much because when I was a child I ran off to the local shops by myself at maybe the age of 3-5 and got mistaken as a little girl, my mum soon after found me by a women saying "has anybody lost a little girl" my mum then decided it was time for me to have my first hair cut, well story cut short i didn't like it very much, I then went through my life getting my hair cut weirdly by a private barber but maybe it was because I was in the comfort of my own home, on my 18th birthday I thought to myself "I want to feel fresh and look nice for my birthday, I'm a man now, I don't need to be scared of the barbers" and decided to go to my local barber shop for a hair cut, at my surprise I was really happy with my experience there, from that point on I kept thinking about barbering every now and then, and at the age of me writing this I am currently 24 years old and have brought myself the courage to become a barber myself, something that was once a fear of mine is now a career path I am proud to be taking and I have recently been taking every possible chance to cut hair to perfect the art of barbering, I know its not a great feeling to sit in a barber chair and have awkward silence all through the hair cut, that's why I aim to make client relationships to ease the tension when visiting for a hair cut, I am relatively new to barbering at the point of writing this but hopefully my client base respect the grind I'm willing to take to become the best of my capability.
